Region : Cote de Nuits, Burgundy, France
Varietal : 100% Pinot Noir
Tasting Notes : Deep red colour. The aromas are powerful and elegant, with notes of cherry and blackberry, as well as hints of cedar wood evolving towards gamey touches. On the palate: beautiful balance between structure and softness. The long aftertaste is reminiscent of fruit syrups and mild spices.
Vintage : The wines offer a good breadth. The tannic structure is not too present. In Côte de Nuits they display nice intensity and maturity. Their evolution is slower than in Côte de Beaune.
Best enjoyed at 16°C. Drink now or cellar up to 25 years.
