Region: Burgundy, France
Varietal: 100% Pinot noir
Tasting Notes: A deep color, while the nose reveals fine notes of violet, blackberry and cherry. On the palette, the wine has a good, intense fruit core with raspberries and blackberries, finely accompanied by shades of white pepper and English licorice. The stay in oak barrels has added subtle spicy and toasted notes to the wine. All in all, an exquisite Pinot Noir with medium body, high fruit acid, well-integrated tannins and an almost mouth-watering dryness at the end.
