Tasting Notes: Deep purple colour. Intense aromas of ripe berries, cassis, blackberry, plum, with hints of leather and vanilla. Complex yet elegant with a good structure and acidity. Full-bodied, harmonious on the palate and a long lingering finish. Best enjoyed at 18 °C after decanting for 1 hour.
Additional information: Carmignano is the pioneer for 'Super Tuscan'. They started making 'Super Tuscan' style wines since the 18th century. In 1716, the Grand Duke of Tuscany named Carmignano as 1 of the 4 highest quality wine region.
