Tasting Notes: “Ariento” Vermentino is one of the most fascinating Italian whites, certainly among the best of those with maceration on the skins. Spontaneous fermentation and aging in wood for more than a year. The olfactory picture is a genuine and bucolic portrait, in which notes of beeswax, citrus peel, dried apple and apricot in syrup are interwoven. The sip is decidedly drinkable and full of charm and nuances, marked by a rustic freshness and a tight tannin.
