Varietal: blend of Moscato Giallo and a local variety of Moscato
Tasting Notes: A blend of Moscato Giallo and a local variety of Moscato with smaller bunches from both their ‘Le Coste’ and ‘Vigna Grande’ vineyards. The grapes are fermented on the skins both carbonically as whole bunches and destemmed and macerated in the traditional way. This is where the name of ‘Due M’ comes from – two kinds of Moscato and two kinds of maceration. After pressing, the wine was aged for twenty months in old French casks, producing a wine of gorgeous perfume that juggles with aplomb fruit, flowers and a beautiful orange zest bitterness.
