Tasting Notes: Deep red (of course, it's also a Nero D'avola & Merlot Cuvée) is extremely good in terms of color and cuts a very good figure in a large, bulbous wine glass (e.g. Zalto Burgundy glasses). Like the HAVE A DREAM, the SMART AS is incredibly smooth and substantial! The first thing I had in my nose was Amarena cherry. Closely followed by fine vanilla notes. This range of aromas then presses on towards the palate and unfolds into a super elegant long finish, with fresh, herbal and spicy notes.
