Tasting Notes: Exceptionally perfumed with an abundance of black cherries, cardamom, sweet tobacco, espresso. On the palate, this wine is opulent and juicy with ripe plums, violets, black olives, cloves, and licorice. The mid-palate is rich, textured and balanced with cocoa powdery tannins and a definite cedar wood character from French oak. The finish is dry, peppery and lingering, with hints of dried cranberry, tar, graphite and smoke.
