The soft fruit and subtle oak notes are reflected on the palate in the generous flavours and delicate fine-grained tannins. The fine-grained French oak contributes some spicy and nutty notes, and a mineral edge keeps the wine tightly contained and fruit flavours defined through a very long dark chocolate like finish. This is a classic Wilyabrup Cabernet from an outstanding season. Enjoy now or cellar for over 10 years.
Handpicked and aged for 24 months in old French oak, followed by 12 months in bottle before release. Certified organic by NASAA. Fined with fresh, local organic egg white, minimally filtered.
