Varietal: Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Cabernet Franc
Tasting Notes: Red mahogany color that is very dense. Brown nuances that are gained from aging in the barrel. On the nose it is intense and complex with fruit notes of blackberry and raspberry jam. There are some roasted notes and smoky hints from the oak aging. On the palate it is powerful, fleshy and concentrated. Sweet tannins and well structured. There appear to be ripe fruit notes like prunes or raisins. You can see the oak aging with the cocoa and leather notes. Slight minerality from the slate. Persistent finish.
